He comes from a family of doctors, his father Mr. Gautam Allahbadia is a physician and his mother Swati Allahbadia is a gynaecologist. However, Ranveer Allahbadia’s chose a different path—he took admission in a field outside medicine and pursued a career aligned with his own interests.
A 32 year old content creator has done Bachelor of Engineering ( B.E) in Electronics and Telecommunication from Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi College of Engineering. Ranveer once told that while he was studying, he was going through a breakup and had fallen into the habit of partying everyday. When the results came out, he got failed in one subject and he had to tell his mom about the same.
She wasn’t too upset with him, and that very moment he realised he needed to turn his life around. After that, he worked really hard and eventually got good grades. He also did some internships and it was only during his internships that he realised that he wanted to start something on his own.
So, after completing his engineering degree, he decided to launch a fitness app.
In 2015 he launched his YouTube Channel “Beer Biceps”. The channel initial purpose was to promote fitness startup by sharing content on fitness, lifestyle and diet.He broadened the channel’s scope to include topics like Mental Health, personal development,grooming, men’s fashion, which resonated with a large audience.
Over time, he expanded his brand to include other successful platforms, such as the podcast “ The Ranveer Show” and co founded Monk Entertainment, a talent management company.
He gained a massive following among young Indians. His podcast featured successful entreprenuers, celebrities and spiritual leaders, further boosting his popularity.

The podcaster is known for covering a wide range of questions, across fame, finance, spirituality and especially asking people about their fears. He was doing exceptionally well until that moment came which no one would ever dreamt of.
“Beyond the Spotlight: The Human Side of Public Controversy
During an episode of Comedian Samay Raina’s Show India’s Got Latent, on which Ranveer appeared as a Judge. He had found himself in the middle of the controversy after marking a highly inappropriate remark which sparked outrage on social media and criticism across India including prominent public figures, prompting him to apologize publicly. Even he has been asked to remove the offensive content from the episode.
His statement, met with loud reactions from those present, quickly spread across social media platforms. Many users condemned the remark for being vulgar and inappropriate, questioning the state of content creation in India.
The controversy escalated further when Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnis was asked about it. While admitting he had not watched the video, he acknowledged the gravity of the situation.
Maharashtra police filed FIR against Ranveer Allahbadia and Samay Raina over “India’s Got Latent” row. This was the second FIR against the duo, with the Assam Police having registered one.
The Maharashtra Cyber Police had booked both Ranveer Allahbadia, Samay Raina and other artists for allegedly making obscene content and broadcasting it on India’s Got Talent Show.
Ranveer Allahbadia filed a plea in Supreme Court to club three FIRs that had been filed against him in different states.
Justice Surya Kant took every opportunity to remind the petitioner that his comments were disgusting, filthy and insulting which anyone would be ashamed of. Further stating that “Why should the Court hear this kind of person ?”
To which Ranveer’s Counsel Mr. Abhinav Chandrachud told the Court that his client is receiving threats of physical violence from various people including political figures.
Supreme Court granted Ranveer Allahbadia interim relief stating that no new FIRs shall be registered against on the pretext of those comments.
Social Media was flooded with mixed reactions from both his fans and critics. Many people across India have called for You Tube and other platforms to enforce stricter guidelines to prevent such content from gaining momentum.
After this controversial incident, Ranveer Allahbadia issued an apology on X following backlash over a controversial comment he made during the Samay Raina’s Show.
After getting relief from Supreme Court to resume his show, he had resumed his podcast, “The Ranveer Show” after a period of public backlash.
Ranveer Allahbadia uploaded a video titled “Lets Talk” on his youtube channel, offering a candid reflection on his time away from content creation and the challenges he had faced following the controversy surrounding the “India’s Got Latent” Show.
In his video, he expressed gratitude to his supporters who stood by him throughout the difficult phase.
He further stated that Meditation, Sadhana and prayer helped him regain his mental well being during the difficult time.
He was considered one of the biggest influencers in India and people followed him for his morally correct content. Its not that people have stopped following him after the controversy but it certainly had a negative impact on the minds of the people specially young minds. India is a country of morals, values, traditions, different cultures etc where there is no place of controversial remarks.
After seeking public apology , he has for sure learnt the lesson for lifetime.

Regarding the specific controversy in early 2025, Ranveer Allahbadia acknowledged the public’s reaction to falls from grace, stating that he experienced losses in health, money, opportunity, reputation, and peace. He described this period as an opportunity for growth. Despite not being 100 % ok, he committed to continuing his work due to the livelihoods that depend on it.
He continued to be an influential content creator, with reports indicating a significant net worth and ongoing business operations.
Despite the temporary disruption and personal stress, his career as a podcaster and entrepreneur has continued.
